MMY Reality was born out of a simple belief: important stories deserve more than a paragraph.
We are a Wales-born immersive storytelling company founded to transform how stories are told, learned and preserved. We create virtual reality and immersive experiences that help audiences encounter history, identity, memory and lived experience in powerful new ways.
Our work combines documentary research, cultural sensitivity, oral history, dramatic reconstruction and emerging immersive technology. We believe technology should serve the story — not overpower it.
We work with museums, universities, public bodies, cultural organisations, community groups, media organisations and private families to create experiences that audiences can connect with, remember and reflect on long after they remove the headset.
The company has grown through research, prototype development and collaborative work across broadcast, heritage and immersive media.

Mo Jannah
Director / Producer
Mo Jannah is a BAFTA Cymru-nominated Welsh presenter and producer whose career spans social services, factual television, wellbeing and immersive storytelling. After working with young offenders and youth services, he moved into broadcasting with the BBC Two observational documentary Mo’s World and has since worked across BBC factual and daytime output, both on screen and in development and production. His work is centred on authentic, diverse stories and human connection, an approach he now brings to immersive media and cultural and heritage projects. As Director / Producer at MMY Reality, Mo leads the creative and producing vision, developing projects that use VR to preserve lived experience and create more immediate connections between audiences and contributors.
Max Evans
Technical Lead
Max Evans is a filmmaker, photographer and Technical Lead with a background in factual television, corporate production and documentary. After his time with BBC Studios, he worked with independent production companies on programmes for Channel 4 and US broadcasters before refocusing on camera, photography and post-production. Drawn particularly to real people and lived experience, he now leads MMY Reality’s technical filmmaking workflow, spanning VR capture, post-production and delivery, while also supporting production planning, health and safety, and practical logistics.
