Every MMY Reality project begins with the story. We work with clients and communities to understand the purpose, audience, context and emotional truth behind the project.
Our process, step by step.
We provide creative and technical support from the first idea through to final delivery. Every project is different, but the discipline is always the same.
Step 01 — Discovery
Understanding the story before we begin building it.
We begin by understanding the project's purpose, audience, setting, story and desired impact. This involves deep listening, open conversation and honest questions. We earn the right to tell the story before we begin building it.
Step 02 — Research
Gathering the material that gives the project depth.
We gather the material that gives the project authenticity. We move slowly here — because the story depends on it. Research may include any combination of the following:
- Archive and document review
- On-location field visits
- Oral history interviews
- Cultural context and sensitivity review
- Community and stakeholder consultation
Step 03 — Creative Development
Shaping the story into an immersive format.
We shape the story into an immersive format. Form follows meaning — always. This phase produces the creative blueprint for everything that follows.

Step 04 — Production
Filming, directing and building the experience.
We film, record, direct and produce content using the appropriate creative and technical approach for each project. Our production work spans 360° video capture, volumetric recording, dramatic reconstruction, oral testimony, drone and spatial audio.
Step 05 — Post-Production
Editing until the story is clear, powerful and ready.
We edit and prepare the experience for VR or immersive delivery, ensuring the story is clear, emotionally engaging and technically reliable.

Step 06 — Installation
Getting the experience into the room and onto the headsets.
For institutional clients we install the finished experience onto VR headsets and test the full user journey. We provide staff guidance and ensure audiences can encounter the story without technical friction.
Step 07 — Support
Staying with the work as long as the story is being told.
We provide remote troubleshooting, maintenance and on-site technical support where required. We stay with the work — measuring impact and iterating in the field. The experience is never finished until the story has been properly heard.
